This lot contains 200 carats (40 grams) of Pink to red mixed cab and
facet grade rough tourmaline crystals. Shades of deep Pink with some minor green. The
photo shows a typical 200 carat parcel of the rough. No cut stones are included: faceted
stones show what can be cut from this rough. |

This lot contains a mixture
of grades in both facet and cab from good to very nice. Sort through for yourself and find
your own treasures! Great color and there is lots of nice facet/semi-facet/top cab
grade stuff in here. The material is very translucent to transparent and has a nice
color - great material for both facet and cabs. The facet rough usually runs small –
its in sizes to cut up to about 1 carat finished stones (if you’ll accept a few minor
flaws you can cut stones much larger). See Photo (its hard to show that much of this
material is very transparent). This may be the best bargain on e-bay. Those who have
bought this beautiful tourmaline before say things like "the best material for the
money" and "great product great price". I have many satisfied customers
return to buy more. Based on the material I’m keeping, you should expect to find the
following: 5 to 10 percent facet grade, 20 to 30 percent semi-facet or top grade cab, 30
to 40 percent good grade cab, 20 to 30 percent fair grade cab, 5 to 10 percent thumb-nail
specimen needles, 5 to 10 percent low quality crystals/cab. The only thing keeping this
from being a very high dollar parcel is the fact that most of it is fairly small in size.
Although there are some larger 5 to 10 CT. pieces included in the lot, many of the stones
are about one to two carats in size. Cut the larger stuff yourself and send the smaller
stones to be cut as melee facet and smaller sized cabs in the orient! If you have more
